During the talk, Kämpfer emphasized the importance of the case not losing visibility. “Pedro Brieguer’s case must not be allowed to fade away,” she stated, and affirmed that the journalist “harassed women for 30 years.” In this sense, she assured that many of the women harassed by the international journalist, as a result of his actions, had panic attacks and some, due to his conduct, had to abandon their studies. “Many women resigned and left theses due to Brieguer’s actions,” Kämpfer stated. Kämpfer also revealed that a single mother, Brieguer’s neighbor, was forced to move with her children due to repeated harassments; and even the worst of all was an episode she lived with him in an elevator, in which he masturbated. She also detailed that Brieguer would receive a million-dollar compensation from Public Television, and from the complainant collective, they seek another destination for those funds, for example, that it serve to raise awareness and educate. “We want the 354 million in compensation for Brieguer to be earmarked for reparations.” Kämpfer pointed out that the original complaint was initiated by 19 women, but after it became public, many more came forward to provide their testimony. “When the complaint became public, many women came forward to give their testimony.” She also added that there are more testimonies that did not join the initial complaint, but that the victims accompany and support them. On a personal level, she recognized that the visibility of the case had a reparative effect. “I felt relieved when the complaint became public.” Finally, Kämpfer expressed herself about situations of harassment by Roberto Pettinato, whom she accused of having inappropriate behaviors during his participation in the program “A Perfect World”: “Roberto Pettinato would pass a wand along my leg and lift my skirt so that more of my leg would be visible on television.” She also added that there were other episodes that she still does not feel prepared to recount: “Pettinato did several things to me that I still don’t want to tell about”.
